Does Condoleeza Rice have a personal life?

I am aware of her background as a child prodigy. As I recall, Madame Albright's husband was mentioned while she was Secretary of State, but there is no mention of Condoleeza after office hours. Is this part of the shroud of secrecy in this administration, also.

We all know she shops for shoes, but is this part of a larger fetish?

We also know that she went to see "spamalot" while Katrina was destroying the gulf coast.

Megadave,

Thanks for that link. Whew!! At least I can be assured that she is not pulling a vampire act. (Reclining in her coffin)

No, it seems Secretary Rice has no personal life.

Rumor has it, though that she is a lesbian. Lord, who knows if that's so or not, and who cares? Rumor has it also that Harriet Meiers is also a lesbian. Don't ask me, I don't know. People said the same about Janet Reno. Any woman who isn't married seems to have this rumor started about them. LOL, some married women have it started about them. Didn't Karl Rove start that rumor about Ann Richards?

I did see Rice playing piano once. Yo-Yo Ma was playing cello with her. I was impressed, may I say? She likes football, too, I hear, so maybe her spare time is spent watching recorded games.

She also speaks several languages, so maybe this job inspires her to study more that she doesn't know already.

She has stated that she would like to be NFL Commissioner in the future and pretty much rules out a run for the presidency. BTW, another married woman rumored to be a lesbian: Hillary (LOL)

Here's an old rumor for you to think about. Apparently she was at a cocktail party in Washington a few years back and she pulled one of those "Freudian Slips" and referred to Bush as her husband. I believe the quote I saw in Newsweek went something like, "As I was saying to my husband the other day... I mean, the president".
Note, this is not an exact quotation of what I read, and neither to I place 100% confidence in the quote or the context, but it does make for good tongue-wagging rumormongering. Is Bush getting it on with Secretary Rice? Or is she married to her job? As much as I dislike Bush and his cabinet, I'm inclined to believe the later.

I've read about lesbians.
I've read about the kinds of activities they engage in.
I've come to the conclusion that I must be a lesbian.
Trapped in a man's body.

At first blush, her playing in NY while NO drowns is irrelevant compared to the gross negligence of Herr Busch, Brownie, et al. Howver, she could have been coordinating the relief offers from our few remaining friends in the world. Did any material aid ever get accepted?

The Brits loaded a special French Super Guppy cargo plane with relief supplies headed for the Gulf Coast before our Feds even woke up. It was an international effort that probably went for naught.

I heard about that "Freudian Slip" too. As to it's validity I don't know. We do know however that Mick referred to as "My sweet NeoCon". tongue.gif

It was not only the British. The French, Germans, Swedes, Russians, and even the Indonesians (still recovering from the tsunami) had either offers of aid or ships/planes on the way within hours of the hurricaine's hitting. Rice should have been involved in coordinating those offers from the very beginning instead of playiing in NYC. In that context, she was also on vacation while the gulf coast wallowed in destruction. It is either on vacation or gross dereliction of duty, take your choice.

This child prodography story has reared it's ugly head once too often. There is nothing to substantiate the claim that she was anything more than an innocent child used by adults for their own gratification and to their own selfish ends, (That she continues to let this go on is another matter) She's faultless here, and it's time we closed the hood on this one, before someone gets under there with a spanner looking for a prodigy and hits something hard in the dark.
