Along with Ed Schultz I also listen to The Young Turks and for the past few months The Young Turks have been trying to campaign for Keith Olbermann's 10/9 central spot on MSNBC.

MSNBC is so far very impressed with our campaign and asked TYT to show us our audience which leads us to a photo campaign.

I love Keith Olbermann but four time slots is enough, I wouldn't mind a different show at 9pm (Central for me). I'd definitely watch it.

I like the repeats. Keith & Rachel twice a day works for me.

Sometimes I miss one & watch them on the 2nd broadcast.
Gives me a chance to catch something else.

The one that could stand to drop to one, is Hardball.
They could broadcast a "best of" one day a week in the repeat slot.

Do the Turks 2 or 3 days a week,
alternate with the "Best of Hardball" & maybe some other show.

I agree! Mathews is losing ground Fast! It's where he positions himself that has caused his apparent demise. He's earned it!
Mathews is biased toward the NeoCon agenda. He also entertains running politically, as other closeted NeoCons do[Lou Dobbs, Scarborough, etc.] who use the cable Nets to build their base. It's really a joke how dumb America is when it comes to the propaganda that is openly displayed over the airwaves.

Mathews is a great example! Hardball when it comes to lesser issues[Palin, RW haters, etc] which would DIE on the vine without the cable pile-on. We just can't get enough of these IMPORTANT life threatening issues. "barf"

Where would Palin be-IF not for the Corporate run media which wants to INSURE its Profit modus operendi at the expense of true NATIONAL [people, not corporational driven] issues. Mathews works for the corporate structure -Much more in line with its agenda. Hardball, Lou Dobbs, Morning Joe are mere propaganda mills to build a stronger NeoCon network. The past 8 years is just a "twinkle" of what is on their plates, our futures at their whim.

Chris Mathews has always been a covert agent for the AGENDA. He slithers about with a youthful giggle, coupled with hard questions, but hard for whom? When a Busher, or a Reganite arrive on his show, the Corporations win thru the Mathews montra. Just watch how fierce his questions become when dealing with one of these thugs. He starts hard, but whimpers down as the conversation continues on, leaving his audience with "questions" which he should have asked, but didn't. Hardball is a shill.

As for Olberman and Maddow, so far they appear not to have sold out. But the incentives are STRONG! How long before they too capitulate to the Corporate need for Control and manipulation of the audience. NETWORK !!!!!! Can we have a real Howard Biel? Only time will tell. So far, the Cable News nets have been pulling off the Goebbels directed "drift" with Mathews, Dobbs and Joe routines. William Randolf Hurst is very much "alive" and well thru FOX and CNN. MSNBC is now flexing toward capitulation!
So who is CITIZEN KANE anyway?

What will "we do", is the question. The new comer The Ed Show is up for grabs. Will Ed also sell out for the "30 pieces" of silver.

I don't share your view. MSNBC knows exactly what Ed gets up to, and if anything he's gotten more ferocious lately towards these corporate bastards. Same thing for Maddow, she regularly exposes corporate malfeasance. If that was the wrong message for MSNBC, they would've been reined in a long time ago. I'd argue that if MSNBC was all about corporate shillery they never would've gone for Maddow, Schultz in the first place, and would ditch Olbermann as well.

I believe you have misunderstood my position. To trust the media, whether MSNBC, CNN, etc is a Mistake. Propaganda works with folks who NEED what it provides. Thus why America is "where she is". We have allowed the repetitious "messages" for years while our children grew up hearing the mantra of the corporatists[MIC, PhARMA, Oil cabal, etc] without forcing their messager to show the sources and back up the "gaps" in their facts. We just allowed the Reagan/Bush policies and Propaganda to stay the course, even when facts were there to SHOW the absurdity. We just "complied" with the corporate directed and created LIES to change the integrity of government.

Nothing has changed. In fact, it has reached epic proportions. MSNBC is the last of the Mohican's, and from those whom are now chosen to deliver the Message...."more is better". The medial controls in this country hate fact based delivery of all the facts-the news. IMO They function upon ratings, profit share, and a continuance of governance= NeoCon agenda. We should not be looking so closely at the message, but at the messenger, and the messenger's "intent". No problem when the facts are provided with transparency. Ed Schultz, Rachel and Keith are heroes of mine because they attack the BS that administrations and corporatists place on our "airwaves"; But that does not mean that I will accept every and all that leaves their lips. They , as I, are prone to err---"we are human". But they, as far as I can tell, do NOT purposely continue to push a lie[s] in order to GAIN position. I do believe Rachel, Keith and now ED function to do a great job based upon integrity of facts. Anything else, must be questioned!

I will always look at what the individual says, then go and find out for myself, the validity of their message, based upon FACTS, all the facts. We have to do our homework, that is IF we want to grow straight and strong. We have an obligation to one another to gather facts, and rule out the BS, no matter who delivers it. What has been going on these past 6 months has been highly questionable, due to the appearance of another administration that chooses to PUSH corporate/Neo-Con agendas, rather than regaining INTEGRITY of government......lost under GW and his cabal.

DRUGS, OIL and ARMS [[b]DOA[/b]] run the corporate world, whether Capitalist, Communist, or an aberration. What makes the difference, are the CHECKS & BALANCES that are in place, IF ANY.

The Reagan Administration really is the time when Milton Friedman's philosophy was put in play, at the expense of the Constitution and the people. And the BUSH family has been right in the "middle" of these under-minings. Where Congresspersons were unwilling to go along, the LOBBYISTS kicked in with huge sums of money and promises to future positions in the VERY lucrative world of Corporate capitalism. Whose going to blow the whistle on these guys. Money is too good. And if that doesn't work, black-mail, threats, etc can be brought in. Then there is the open "threat" such as a plane crash, or a letter of Anthrax arriving at ones mailbox.

Yes! I love what the true journalists/medial messengers uncorrupted by the corporatists are willing to place on our plates, despite the threats, and corruptive influences that cross their desks.
