Okay, due to all of the stories coming out over the past few years regarding data mining, crackdown on dissent & whistleblowers and eavesdropping/wiretapping ... I can't help but ask the following questions.
Is there anyone else out there who's experiencing strange occurences with their e-mail accounts and/or internet?
I ask because several people on my various contact lists are not receiving CERTAIN e-mail from me over the past few months. They receive some that are of personal, trivial or other subjects. HOWEVER, they are not receiving any e-mail that contains POLITICAL content (news stories, jokes, cartoons, etc.) and/or anything with a "liberal slant!" For example, I'm a big proponent of healthcare reform (Like Ed) and my contacts have not been receiving ANYTHING I forward or send regarding healthcare! I also sent several e-mail over the past several weeks regarding the "Show/Town Hall in Madison" tonight including ones with confirmation codes for seats I purchased for some people. Again, they're NOT receiving ANY of this even when I re-send or forward the previous e-mail(s) I've sent!??? So, am I a tin foil hat wearer or has someone else encountered these issues???? scratchhead.gif

While I'm not going to take a position one way or the other, anything is possible. The first thing to consider might be what email service you have, and who owns it. I'm also guessing you'd checked your "sent" box to ensure it actually was sent (I know in your case they weren't received, but if they were actually sent is another matter). I've actually had general trouble with Yahoo in the past. Nothing politically-related, just general email goofs.

I doubt that is happening. Most likely scenario is that the emails are getting caught in ISP spam filters. I use GMail for most of my online/political stuff and every once in awhile I notice I'm not getting certain emails. I go online and sure enough, they hit the spam folder. So have whomever you send emails to check their spam filters/folders to see if they are ending up there.
