QUOTE
Brigadier General David "Dave" McGinnis (ret.) says Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has not stood up for the state's National Guard as it suffers through historic deployments.

The comments made by Gen. McGinnis, the former Chief of Staff of the National Guard Association of the U.S., follow the release of initial findings on the Alaska National Guard by Veterans for America.

"The situation uncovered in Alaska during the Veterans for America multi-state study of returning National Guard veterans are examples of when the Governor should act to protect the well being of the troops and the continuing integrity of their National Guard," Gen. McGinnis said.

"We can find no evidence that Governor Palin intervened on behalf of members of the Alaska National Guard before or after their recent deployments," McGinnis said. "Where has the Governor been?"

Alaska Report

Bush Part III. Palin/McCain tag team will finish the military off for good. Then they can completely privitize them.

QUOTE
John McCain skipped close to a dozen votes on Iraq, and on at least another 10 occasions, he voted against arming and equipping the troops, providing adequate rest for the troops between deployments and for health care or other benefits for veterans.

I would hope, and expect, that one of the 527's would use this in an ad.

Sure they support the troops.... NOT.
