Hey folks...

How many times have you asked a righty a question, only to have him respond by changing the subject...how many times have you HEARD a right-wing talker or pundit bust that move?

Wellll....here' something I mentioned earlier in another thread.

During the post-debate analysis, one of the NPR panel members was asked a question, and responded with, "I hope you'll forgive me for, 'pulling a Palin' here, but first I want to address this other subject..."

And ya know what? I think it'd be a gosh-darn-good idea if 'Pulling a Palin' became a common expression for when someone answers a question by trying to switch over to a topic THEY want to talk about.

Sooooo, from now on, whenever any rightie ( or anyone else, for that matter ) responds to a question I pose by changing the subject, I will call them for, 'Pulling a Palin'.

And I strongly urge every other good progressive here to do the same. Let's get this expression OUT there, people.

A combination of Adobe Photo-Deluxe and MGI Photo Suite. First, I took a pic of Bush at the podium and converted it to 'oil painting' using MGI. Next, using photo-deluxe, I deleted Bush's head, then cut and pasted Bozo's head in it's place from another pic.

You betcha! Gol darn it! Gee Whiz and Jiminy Cricket and all those other cool things they say up there in the frozen tundra.
I'm just hoping that these folkisms aren't embraced by people in the lower 48, like Bush's "internets" and other stupid things we started out laughing at, then somehow absorbed into the vernacular.
Maybe we should put these hick sayings to death immediately, if not sooner....
But here's another phrase I like, "That's so Sarah Palin" or "You're being so Sarah Palin" or "You're so Sarah Palin." Maybe I should put like in there somewhere, but I'm reminded of put-downs that were like "That's so '80s" and such and that and also therefore....
