Visit my anti-war website, www.shockedandawful.com, and scroll down to the bottom of the page. I've compiled 50+ contemporary anti-war songs on my Playlist.com jukebox, and I'm rather proud of the darn thing.

PS: I don't track IPs, and I ain't selling a thing.

Peace.

Do you have the 2 by Rickie Lee Jones?:
"Tell Somebody" & "Have You Had Enough?"

And the Ann Reed tune: "Goodbye George?"

They are ESSENTIAL!!!
Buy 'em. Support the artists who speak out.

The Preacher and the President Joe Louis Walker
Bourgeois Blues Leadbelly

the enviro set:

This Land is Your Land Woody Guthrie

I met Lizzie West, and her three legged dog, out there in Washington DC at one of the many anti-war protests I've participated in. I had no idea that she was an accomplished artist - she was just there with her dog, with a guitar strapped to her back.

Me and the group I was with took a few minutes, and sat our butts down, and started up a conversation with the gal - about the war, her dog, youth activism, etc...

Next thing I knew, Ms West started playing 19 Miles to Baghdad for us.

Awesome.
