I have been watching Lou Dobbs to get his Independent views but that guy seems anything but Independent. There is nothing that he says good about Barack Obama and always blames Congress for things. I was watching him today and he was asking another Democratic Strategist Robert Zimmerman ( wink wink ) to name one good thing this congress has done. I was expecting some reply about Minimum wage, GI bill and other things that congress has done but I didn't hear anything in response to challenge Lou Dobbs. IMO, Lou is just another republican who just started going after Bush once they screwed up everything. I don't think this guy wants another Democrat in the white house. He is always pointing out so called Liberal Bias in the media but I don't hear him say anything about Conservative crap that is spewed on FoxNews and the radio that is dominated by righties.

Before the primary Dobbs and his show was slightly independent, worth watching. The show highlighted waste, fraud and abuse in our government and tried to hold lobbyists and officials accountable. But when Obama started winning the primary Dobbs went anti-Obama, supportive of everyone who was not Obama. Dobbs dragged the entire network with him. I remember only Candie Crowley, Gloria Borgia and Jack Cafferty on "Situation Room" tried to be even handed on the shows. Except for the Dobbs show, The Clinton News Network seems to be drifting back to reporting ever since the Repuke convention but time will tell.

Anybody two degrees off the port is a righty to the hatters. As soon as Dobbs says something negative about McCain, they'll be back to kissing his arse like they did with Matthews.

His lame schtick is to blindly disagree with everything in an attempt to appear independent. One thing I can definitely say about him is that he's consistent. To me as a lefty, I have never considered him on either side because I can't tell. He has an editorial show and says absolutely nothing... All he does is bitch and flap his fat jowls around on tv. We get it. He loves our borders. Big deal. Other than that, I can't tell what this asshole is about.

I can't remember some of the exact comments I'd heard in the few times I tried to watch his show but he came across like an O'LIElly, Dobbs clone. Believe me, I like sensible Republicans, I even support shrinking our federal government and more states rights. The Repukes and DINO enablers are doing grave damage to the USA and have done so over the last 30yrs.

Not really in Dobbs case. As I said in my previous post I liked his show when it was more a news show than political commentary, but he became too pompous. Even before he began his relentless attacks against Obama and now the Democratic Congress, he failed to justify his position against illegal immigration in "face to face" with a pro-immigration proponent, ie, he didn't use the facts to sustain his case. He got worse, more pompous, after that and it affected his shows' staff and the Clinton News Network.

In fairness I listened to tonight's show and he actually sounds sane.

I'm not sure I'll agree with his views but he doesn't seem like the neo-nazicon that from a year or so ago. His show is a better commentary show than Lou Dobbs but he doesnt have the CNN reporters or apparently HLN.

The problem is instead of news reporting all the cable networks run commentary shows in the dinner hour.

But he doesn't have one single good thing to say about Liberals or Democrats. Thomas Freedman was on his show and they might be talking sense now that the shit has hit the fan......

He takes on both sides. He gets worked up, but can actually be humorous to watch.

He's not perfect, but he is about as balanced as they come, IMO. Infinately more balanced than Rush, Hannity, Schultz, etc.

SO you watch him enough to know this?

How many times have you seen his show?
