Full Version: Will McCain's policies force a re-institution of the Draft?

It's a question REPORTERS NEED TO ASK ..

Like "snowflake" babies, frozen embryos that never have the chance of becoming babies, will these questions never be asked --

In this case, is it important to do so?

Ans: "Bomb, bomb, bomb Iran .."

There is a connection between the way McCain went off shooting from the hip in this financial crisis, saying he would "fire Cox" one day and fire someone else the next, and how it looks like he would proceed in a world threat crisis.

McCain is crazy, and his brain cells are dying.

I think it's timely, and extremely important.

Conscription has only been tolerated in America in times of grave need. It will not be tolerated for gratuitous wars. McCain hasn't got - won't ever have - the power to convince the people that a draft is necessary or appropriate. It won't happen.

Agree completely. He is no longer acting in a coherent manner. He never really did, he has a terrible temper and is just a mean person, but in the last three months, he basically has proven he is no longer able mentally to assume the duties of the Presidency.

I am still worried about some sort of October Surprise that is going to involve military action.

I do think that if the draft even comes close to being re-instituted that Americans will take it to the streets and protest.
I just can't believe that we would put up with this kind of war-mongering.

you are very right to have that concern, but the question is, how does that concern influence you?

It influences me to work doubly hard for Obama! We have GOT to get BushCo and the spawn of BushCo out of our government!
