I missed most of the first hour since I was out campaigning.

But Ed is truly knocking it out of the park tonight!!! I wish I was in the audience.

Anyone else listening live???

I tried but the stream was too fast for my dialup modem. They were firing a 128k at my poor 56k line (50.006K) and it just bogged it down. I wished the stream was offered a a reasonable 33.6K either real or windows format but I had to quit listening because it was so broken up. cry.gif
I hope the podcast comes out later this weekend, at least I could hear it while I am in the middle of clean up from the aftermath of the 74MPH windstorm here. (I was doing that this evening as well... Can someone say sharpen the chainsaw chain for the next day of tree clearing?)
Sorry guy's it's been hell here but at least I have power and dialup... 125,000 still can't from the peak of over 800,000 households in the Cincinnati area that lost power last Sunday in the windstorm caused by the passage of the remnants of Ike, and the dropping of the Jet Stream to the surface. ohmy.gif

Are any of these townhalls available, or at least excerpted?
The Alaska one I heard part of live. I get lousy reception at work.
Making those at least partially available would be nice.

Subscribe to the podcast and you can download it to your pc or mp3 player. The audio from the podcast is much better than am radio broadcast and *no commercials*.

I was in the audience last night and Ed truly was on fire! We had a great time, shed some tears but mostly very very uplifting to be with other Ed heads and watch Team Fargo do their thing!

Me too! I checked out my emails at about 2 am to find that I could have been listening to the Portland meeting hours earlier.
It would be helpful if we could be notified on the board, rather than in our email boxes. If I'm on the board, I'm not cruising my emails....

I don't have an mp3player anymore, I gave it to one of my grandchildren, who now wants an mp4. If I download the podcast into my laptop, where do I store it? I realize that should be easy, but a little help would be much appreciated....

Download it to "My Desktop". That way it will be on the screen where you can select it and play it.
If you use "windows" then Wndows Media Player will play it fine anytime you want to hear it on your computer. That's the way I do it.
When you ar done listening to it, either discard it or move it to "My Documents" or "My Music" folders on your computer.
When I get enough to save to a DVD I burn them to a DVD and remove them from the computer. But CD's will work too.

Looks like the podcasts are up now, so you can still hear it.

I'm going to listen to the first forty minutes that I missed.

Cheers,

Yep. But it will probably be edited a bit.

I'll ask Holmey about this. We've all been traveling a lot, so our communication hasn't been top-notch. If I had known (remembered) about the town-hall, I would have posted it here.

Of course, I was also out campaigning, so I probably wouldn't have posted in time anyways.

Best,
