Yesterday on Fox News, Sean Hannity and The American Prospect’s Robert Kuttner had a tense exchange about the election. As Kuttner offered advice for Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL), Hannity interrupted, saying Obama is “hiding” his associations with Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright. “Stop it. Stop it. This is — this is garbage you’re spewing,” Hannity said. Kuttner shot back, accusing Hannity of “doing RNC talking points”:

HANNITY: You spew this line, DNC talking points.

KUTTNER: I don’t spew any goddamn line. Stop insulting me or I’m walking off the set.

HANNITY: Go ahead. Go. Good-bye. Walk off. … Please. I don’t care. Go right ahead. Walk off. You said the economy is in dire straits.

KUTTNER: It is in dire straits. You want to deny that, you fool?

HANNITY: You fool, you idiot.

KUTTNER: You’re going to deny that the economy is in dire straits?

HANNITY: For the first time — sir, sir, unemployment in this country…

WATCH IT....and please don't punch your computer.

My favorite comment from this, Count Itsvan: "Let me guess Colmes sat there and didn’t say one word to help the guy Shemp was attacking. It’s a good thing it didn’t get physical or Colmes might have had to get involved. Who else would have held Hannity’s coat for him?"

Yes Sean, the economy is in great shape. The government is bailing out failing financial institutions at a rate never seen. Americans are having to decide whether to pay the mortage or the health insurance. Our infrastructure is rusting and falling apart. Good jobs are leaving the country. Heating oil is at such a cost that many will spend the winter suffering the cold rather than heating the house. Yep Sean, keep singing that song.

Well, since it punctured that separate reality that he and his fellow righty talkers live in, Slanthead will spend a great deal of time pretending this little episode never happened.

Exactly!!! In my previous post, I referred to Hannity as a "bore." He is a bore, but what I meant to type was "boor" - a peasant or uncultured person. He's both a bore and a boor, and no amount of shouting, screaming, desk-pounding is going to put lipstick on THAT pig!!! (And I'm obviously NOT referring to Sarah Palin, not matter how the RW would like to spin it).
Finally somebody stood up to him, while the meek and mild Colmes looked like a Martin Short character from Saturday Night Live....

No, he's just like the two neocons I work with. Loud and boorish, and incapable of recognizing that the GOP is not the greatest thing since sliced bread. Both are fans of that self righteous prick too.

When you are as far out of touch with reality as ole Slanthead, it is no wonder that he cannot handle the truth that shatters his fantasy world. Hannity cannot conceive of the world that the rest of us live in, because he is fundamentally inadequate as a person. The only thing Slanthead can do is rant and melt down--time to call him out on this to the advertisers and send this loser packing.

I think that author is the attack dog we've been looking for. Buy the man a drink!
