I too am a big fan of the brilliant Doctor Maddow, but I wouldn't disparage Thom Hartmann.

No doubt, when it comes to talking about American history or debunking Neoconartists, Hartmann rules.

Maddow and Hartmann don't go for entertainment value, and I like that. I actually prefer that. They're two of the most knowledgable hosts on AAR and know how to make the most of their time on air. Unfortunately, WDTW here shares time with local sports coverage when it's not always convenient, so Maddow has taken a back seat to Detroit Mercy basketball tonight.

Rachel Maddow is incredible.Smart,well spoken and she does her homework.And I'm not sure the right wing can quite figure out how to handle her;she's totally unafraid of anyone and regularly takes on people like Pat Buchanan.I love her new show,and MSNBC has been smart to get her in on some of the political commentary to give a different view of issues from the ususal bobblehead rw'ers.
