I wouldn't want to see Limbaugh or Hannity anchoring these events either. The most reasonable of anchors for these events has passed and that was Tim Russert, IMO.

Seems to me that ever since the death of Tim Russert, NBC has been at a loss as to what to do with their political coverage. they are getting quite schizophrenic with this coverage. They are not well-grounded, and are taking themselves far too serious. Matthews and Olbermann together, was enormous fun, while giving to the point commentary. Consider the way Faux News is so serious about their "fair and balanced" coverage!!! MSNBC is destined to be at the bottom of the heap for a long time to come after this. Thank goodness we still have dear Rachel Maddow, to break the monotony.

Don't forget that NBC is owned by General Electric, a major defense contractor. There is no liberal media. It is a corporate media, and the corporate interests will always be served. The people be damned.

I didn't see it that way. Olbermann, Schuster and Maddow are the only ones fighting the bias exhibited by Matthews, Scarborough and various "contributors". Matthews and Scarborough are biased against Obama, first grudgingly favorable to Sen. Clinton and now favorable toward McShame.


Personally I was glad to hear Olbermann call out Matthews and Scarborough. IMO David Schuster, with his scratchy voice, is the most unbiased on NBC Universe.

David Gregory is biased too, a Chris Matthews lite. As long as NBC keeps the same lame News team of Gregory, Brokaw, Williams, Andrea Mitchell, Buchanan, the O'Donnells it will lose ratings. If we're not watching them on broadcast what makes TV execs think we'll watch on cable? NBC would do better letting Mary Carillo do the nightly new.

They have no objectivity and they came in dead last in the ratings during the conventions.

1.) We eliminate all help for the poor. None,zip zero. That will put more money in your pocket. Let them starve to death or freeze to death,they are useless anyway so let them die off.

2.) And since the economy is going so great,those that can't find or land a job,touch sh*t,they too can starve and die off. And this will put more money in your pocket.

3.) If you can't afford health insurance,oh well,you too can go off and die. This too puts more money in your pocket.

4.) As for those poor countries that have suffered natural disasters,screw'em. Those there can die off too,that way us elite can come in and take over using the money that we have in our pocket by not having to help them.

5.) Eliminate any and all substance abuse programs,i.e. alcohol abuse programs,let those people have at it since it will either kill them off due to accidents or alcohol poisoning or it will put money in your pocket via your investments in the private prison system. Hey, a double bonus here.

Did I leave anything out Pop or any of you other righties here? If so feel free to add anything I missed that would also add more money in your pocket and eliminate what you consider worthless eaters.

Here's a few more - lets eliminate lawyers ability to sue corporations for shoddy/dangerous products, and doctors and hospitals from ANY medical malpractice. After all, big companies would NEVER put out such things in the almighty quest to maximize profits, now would they?

Mutt if the median is 250 than that means there are plenty of house for far less. There are houses in my area that are selling for less than 120 thousand and new ones for 150,000.

In case you have been under a rock lately,most financial institutions have tightend up their belts so tight that unless you are nearly perfect you can forget it or get ready to pay a much higher interest rate. As for the prices,it depends on what part of the country you live in and in that part of the country if you want to live in a troubled part of town or not to find the lowest price. As the economy continues to fall to the basement,those troubled areas will expand so those who do not mind drive by shootings or robbery or other nightly activities will find a bargin in those areas.

The insurance companies continue to raise rates to put them out of reach,deliberately. For someone who has his insurance for the most part payed by the taxpayer you have never had to fork out up to $2,000.00 a month for complete coverage insurance. And if you have a pre-existing condition that number will be higher if you can get insurance at all. And most of us here have posted that those who are under insured or lose their homes or have to file bankruptcy due to health care cost do not have a BMW sitting in the driveway.
