What pathetic interview! Pawlyn "got the pipeline built"? HUH? She only has been gov for under 22 months. How in the hell do you build a gas pipeline in under 22 months?

Is Hastert talking about the ORIGINAL pipeline finished back in the 70's? Instead of the gas pipeline?

The oil pipeline NEXT to the wildlife refuge (the one they COULD build & have leases on) is one which oil
companies want us to build for them. They will drill, but WE are supposed to pay for it, as well as the oil that runs through it. Sounds fair to me.
This is like going into court without a lawyer & your opponent has a big law firm covering him.

Non Sequitur Aside: The same is true about the nuke plants.
The plan is that WE insure it as citizens of the US.
For what used to be insured by other private, for profit insurance companies.
That might make sense, if it was a fair deal. If it was regulated & overseen very carefully.
If we don't let it turn into an Enron Wild West Show.
But THEY run it. Their lawyers will be sure to get the industry a pass for any failures or damages.
Their bungle & terrorist clauses. The past 8 years have not been long on oversight.
