Did anyone here get the new iPhone since it went on sale Friday?

I didn't because I don't want to leave US Cellular, which has pretty good coverage here in Iowa. AT&T is somewhat spotty around here, get too far out from major population centers and you either have no coverage or what they call "partner coverage." I also just got a new phone last winter and have another 1.5 years left to go before I can get a new phone, but would probably stay with what I've got until it wears out. I do have an iPod Touch, which I upgraded to the 2.0 software late Friday. It's pretty neat, especially with all the new apps that can be loaded on to it now.

I'm an apple fan, but have little interest in the iPhone...Too pricey, too restrictive.

Also, AT&T sucks. I'd rather have a shiny new iPod and a cheap cell phone.

But, that could just be me!

I got it Friday and love it even more than the old iPhone. Lighter, looks cooler and great apps, coverage is good, 'net is way faster. You can now save images from email. Haven't used the GPS yet, but it's a cool addition. Sound quality is way better on calls, even though I had no problem with the old one. As an added bonus, I was able to unload my old iPhone for the price I paid for this one, so I'm not out any cash
