Harris Leads Florida GOP Senate Race:

Congresswoman Katherine Harris holds a double-digit lead in the race for Florida's Republican U.S. Senate nomination less than a week before the primary, according to a poll released Thursday.

If she wins, it proves to me how much power the Christian right Dominionists truly wield in the Republican party. Hold Harris up to Nancy Pelosi, and who is the true bats*** crazy zealot?

same type of thing may happen in Maryland. There are two Dems fighting over the Dem nomination for senate (Cardin and MFume). There is some possibility that enough of the Black vote will go to Steele if Cardin wins.

No surprise. If I was joe republican I'd vote for Katherine Harris at this point. She's really an independent candidate, she's become the underdog's underdog. Good or bad she dominates the news. Senator Nelson would do well to get himself in the national news as much as Sen. Harris.
