Let me see if I understand this.

The British told us about the airline bomb plot. I believe it.

If the US Government told us about it, I would just suspect just another attempt to screw with the elections, like they have done in past years.

Isn't it terrible when you trust an foreign government more than your own?

Yes. Yes, it is.

It is now being reported that bush knew about this "plot" since at least last Sunday.
And isn't it amazing how many talking points in the past couple days have involved "terrorists"?
Sorry folks, I'll believe this one after the plotters are convicted, maybe. Remember the Miami Seven?

Exactly! Once bitten, twice shy. I don't trust any of them right now. Britain's credibility is crap, too, as far as I'm concerned. Their government was complicit in the Iraq war swindle and has supported Bush and his policies over the protests of their own people, too. There's another government that needs a clean sweep come election time... dry.gif

ohmy.gif Keith Olberman did a rundown of "upping the ante" on so-called "terrorist thwarting" and creating a diversion for political gain dating all the way back to 2002.......I either said "oh yeah I forgot about the "duct tape and plastic wrap" thing.........."to myself..........or "her we go again" or "those "rats"!!...I guess those who are desperat(like the GOp) will resort to anything to keep power...or maybe they just havent learned yet.??
