Ed's new bosses have told him a new set of rules and it is not making him happy. He sounds very different on the radio now and is quicker to hang up on the nut callers that try to start pro liberal rumors on his show.

Funny rumor. I've listened to Ed since he first came onto Sirius, and I don't listen every day. So I'd notice. He's the same now as ever. Ed moves the calls along.

I called in one day over a year ago, asking Ed to talk more about the problems we have in organizing unions in America. Damn, I got him started on a rant, and I was on for a whole segment, talking to Ed about how important unions are.

I just "found" Ed recently. AAR began playing in Chicago again, and there's a station in Streator he's on. I can't rightly agree or disagree here, but one thing I did notice is that Ed will listen, and he only cuts off the true nuts. He's doing everyone a favor. He's said time and again "bring something to the table", and I'm impressed not only by the points most callers make, but also by the way Ed diffuses an incredibly bad call... gently. There's class on radio 850.

Less: do you know why Ed changed his statement from "the fastest growing talk radio station in America" to "the fastest growing Progressive talk radio station in America"?

Jeff, you obviously don't know what you are talking about. Bennett's show launched in April, 2004. 15 1/2 months makes it WELL OVER a year old! Bennett is on ONLY 115 Reich-wing stations That's a long way from "HUNDREDS" !Salem Radio You are attempting to compare a loaded Mercedes to a stipped down Chevy.

And Bennett can still only get on 115 stations!!!

You know I just had to get this in here somewhere... I am from New Yorks State and have lived in MN for nearly three years... WALLEYE is overrated!

I really like Ed's show, but I do not agree with how Ed cuts off the "nut" cases. Any time someone starts to talk about something the Bush Administration has done that is truely evil, Ed shuts them down. For example, a number of callers have tried to talk about the unanswered questions of 911 and the complicity of the administration in allowing the attacks to happen or, worse, orchestrating the attacks. Ed will not hear it. He is satisfied with the official story of 911 and will not discuss any facts that question the official version. It's as if he's saying, "don't confuse me with the facts, my mind is made up"

Instead of Ed sitting on the couch at night sipping a cool one listening to Slant Head and the other talking heads disseminating what is pushed off as "news", Ed would do well to read some books or watch some videos on what is really going on.

I know. I know. If Ed had an open mind about these things he would be labelled a "conspiracy theorist" and summarily dismissed. He wouldn't get invited to talk on any of the "news" networks and for sure would not get his tv show he wants.

I sure hope that our Kent does not get "Dashled" because ND would be in a lot of trouble if Hoeven wins...( I personally don' t think that he can, but like they say "it could happen") I am sure there are a lot of South Dakota residents wondering why they voted for Thune...He told everyone he had the presidents ear and look what happened to Ellsworth Air Force Base. No one fights harder for farmers and ranchers in ND than our DEMOCRATS in DC...

No that would be Bill Bennett the bigot, it's not how many stations you're on but how many listen to you and for how long. Ed is also on MSMBC regularly, Bennett is rarely on a TV newshow.
