Why hasn't our government said much about the 9 alleged hijackers that are still alive to this date? The right is always quick to dispute another possibility, but how can the dispute this fact? In the telephone survey of 1200 individuals, just 47% agreed that "the 9/11 attacks were thoroughly investigated and that any speculation about US government involvement is nonsense." Almost as many, 45%, indicated they were more likely to agree "that so many unanswered questions about 9/11 remain that Congress or an International Tribunal should re-investigate the attacks, including whether any US government officials consciously allowed or helped facilitate their success."

The poll is the first survey that has attempted to gauge the level of Americans' doubts about 9/11 and was carried out for the "9/11: Revealing the Truth, Reclaiming Our Future" conference to be held in Chicago in June.

I was hoping to save time if there is an existing link showing that 165 of the `purported' passengers of the flights haven't been reported as deceased yet OR an FAA site that still lists two of the four purported aircraft involved as `not destroyed'.

The date of cancelation for the two not listed as destroyed is quite interesting. Look up the plane numbers at any site that allows a FAA plane number search. I have received the same results at several.

And there's a post somewhere of a pilot who keeps a log of every plan he flies, tail numbers and there is some other number. But he noted it was interesting that a later flight he took had the same numbers as the plane that was used for flight 93.
Other interesting ideas of those flights is how extremely low the passenger count was on that day. How low the building occupancy of the Towers were when hit, and how the hit on the Pentagon was directed at the unoccupied portion. Yes folks the perpetrators wanted maximum shock and awe with minimal casualties. They did quite well don't you think. A little sloppy perhaps but they know how the media works and apparently the American public.

Excellent post lenzy1000, well done. I'l take your word on the research you've done and not double check for the time being.

I DO know that FAA investigations can sometimes take years. It could be that the other two investigations have not been formally closed yet.

You could call the SSN and ask. Just as an inquiry into what, other than the obvious gets people on the list or when dead how they can be missed. Investigate.

Another ponderable is why none of the so called hijackers appear on the passenger mainifest of their respective flights. None.

Are the airlines prejudicial towards hijackers? Or did the hijackers steal the planes at the gate?

Uhmmm.... my small Republican mind had forgotten about this thread.....

Having teenagers running all over the house I get exposed to media that I would normally avoid. The movie `V for Vendetta' falls into this catagory. It was released in late January of 2006 and was put out in DVD release last month (that should tell you something about the film's quality right there). It is based on a comic character that runs around in a Guy Fawks mask in a London set in the not to distant future.

Now imagine for a moment....... that absolutely every negative thing ever written in a blog about President Bush is 100% true..... ALL OF IT. Yep, Progressive_pirate, Christian Nazi are running whats left of the civilized world after staging a series of plagues that not only allow them to keep power, but to make Billions off of selling the antidote (which they already had in the beginning of the plague, but did not release).

V (the name chosen by the Movie's main character) started out as a normal human being who was twisted by experiments that would have curled the Nazi Doctor Josef Mengele's hair for being to extreme.

But V survives and gets revenge on the entire lot.

The movie is every conspiracy theorist best dream........ it's ALLLLLLL TRUE! The Grassy Knoll, Marilyn's staged sucide murder, Hitler's still alive and living in Pahrump, Nevada....... you get the picture. And in the end, the bad guys get theirs, the people awake to the conspiracy and V dies as a martyr in the end (apologies for spoiling the surprise ending).

Many (but not all) of the 9-11 conspiracies seem to me to be about as plausible as the above discribed movie. I'm not saying that there are no unanswered questions. I don't claim that nothing went wrong in the response. I sure as all #E!! believe that there are people covering their backsides so as to not reveal bad mistakes and malfeasance on their part. But I can't believe that Administrations which fail to cover up a third rate burglary.... fail to hide a botched weapons for hostages deal..... or fails to avoid a public beating on a charge of receiving oral sex from an intern.... could pull off a plan of this massive scale without something screwing up.

No, obviously all conspiracy theories are not true. Not even all 9/11 conspiracies. I am well aware that "my camp" is populated with people who truly believe dust spots on lenses are spirits from beyond the grave and our government is run by a shadow government of "the Grays" from Alpha Centari, and who took notes while watching the X-Files.

But I also know I live in a world where good, moral, peaceful Muslims share their faith with brainwashed fanatics. Reapeat the above sentance, but insert Christians, Jews, Homosexuals, Undocumented Aliens, Politicians, [insert label here], ad nauseum.

Your very honest admission that you had an irrational dislike for Clinton is, I think, very indicative of the power of the media. Republicans are very good at a number of things, but in my experience, the party's strongest power is in speaking in one voice from 360 degrees. Kerry is probably never going to be thought of by members of this generation without the label "flip-flopper" hovering over him. But this administration has changed it's message more times than I can count. And Kerry never has.

In this time and place it takes a giant leap of ...
