Well sad to say that the Democrats in the seante and the house are truely showing their true colors, it would appear that the democratic party has become a party of conformity that just merely wishes to bitch. After reading, hearing and watching today's events with Feingold proposal what else needs to be said? Lets not stick our neck out for personal politcal reasons, lets not stand up for the people who put you in office, where I come from (upper midwest) we call people like that a worm ( no back bone ). I hear, read and see the so called leaders of our party lets be patient let the system play and work itself out, earth to Democrats the system has been playing out now for 5 years and counting. Week after week this administration provides material for debate much less great comic material to live through this miserable bullshit. Sad to say the Democratic Party is still light years behind because in essence the so called democratic leaders have become a party of kiss asses affraid to make a move for political ambitions or the Byrds and Kennedys who lately in my mind are merely on a political welfare program of their own. In my point of view it is high time to replace the majority of democrats if they can not stand and unite behind this I expect nothing more useful out of them plain and simple.

I would agree that those Dems who are not behind Fiengold's efforts need to either lead or get out of the way. From the way that you express yourself, I have to assume (I know that is a dangerous proposition) that you have contacted your Senators and let them know how you feel. I talk to many on a daily basis who are as angry as you appear to be who have not taken the effort to contact those who represent them to let them know how they feel. If everybody would just take five minutes away from griping and complaining every couple of days and contact their congressional representatives (both on the federal and state levels) to register their thoughts, more might begin to get the message that there are a lot of us out here. I urge you all to take the time to check in with those you helped send to congress. Even if you didn't vote for them, let them know that there is an opposition movement out here as well.
