Many years ago, I got to play at Lincoln center for Arthur Miller's 80th birthday, and I actually met Christopher Walken there. He came off as a really nice guy, though his eyes are even more chilling in person.

Many other celebrities were there as well (including Christopher Reeves and Dustin Hoffman), but I only saw them from a distance.

I'm actually a theatre managemet major and spend several years doing the summer stock thing. Rubbing elbows with actors can be fun. Most of them really are just regular folks.

If he weren't so scary looking, I'd call him the Pat Paulsen of the 21st century!

(now we are going to hear from all those in the under 40 crowd...Pat Who?)

I saw Dustin Hoffman in a corvette on Ventura Blvd. many moons ago when I still lived in L.A., probably early 80s. since we're all talking about him wink.gif obviously off topic smile.gif

I met many other celebrities when I was a cashier at Builder's Emporium (not sure if they still exist, probably became Home Depot by now!) on the south end of the valley where alot of stars lived. the absolute worst celebrity customer I had was Jane Meadows (Steve Allen's wife). what a B*TCH she was! and I just about melted when Lyle Waggoner came through my line. ah..........spose anyone under 40 would remember them? wink.gif heh.
