I also think that if he were taking the seats out of civilian aircraft, it would have required more than a few to move his stockpiles, and that would have drawn attention as well. There is not even much support for the war in Iraq right now, the American people will not be sold another war in the middle east based on the words of one ba'athist.
Maybe if Iraq hadn't been so poorly planned, lets be realistic for a moment, we are still in Afghanistan, Iran is getting real provocative, North Korea has been thumbing their nose at us for a while now.....
